Local residents Rochelle Hope and Zolfeqar Ahmadi have received recognition for their contribution as employees of the Caring for You Nursing Agency as part of its Core Value Awards.

They have both been working in their professions for 10 years.

Louise Thomson founded the Caring for You Nursing Agency almost 20 years ago, as she wanted an environment that valued not only the clients and patients, but also the personnel who support these clients and patients.

Sadly, Louise suddenly died two years ago, with the agency and the awards honouring her legacy.

The agency operates from three national hubs in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland, with a new hub opening soon in South Australia.

With more than 9000 nurses, carers and support personnel, they provide services to more than 1800 locations including private and public hospitals, aged care facilities, medical clinics, home and community, military bases and correctional facilities.

Ms Hope received the Louy Award, saying it was a “huge privilege”.

As part of the award, she also received a brand-new car.

Mr Ahmadi received the Core Value Integrity Award.

To receive these awards they were nominated by the agency’s clients and from thousands of their personnel.

Ms Hope has completed more than 800 shifts with the agency and Mr Ahmadi has completed more than 130 shifts.
