Home ablaze in Clyde North

Five CFA units alongside FRV responded to a house fire on Amazon Avenue in Clyde at around 7:36pm 18 June.

Units responded from Clyde and Berwick, alongside Police and Ambulance Victoria.

A community warning was issued for smoke in the area.

Relevant power and gas company were called to the scene.

Breathing apparatus crews were required.

A single storey hose was fully involved.

Incident was deemed under control at 8:13pm and deemed safe at 9:09pm.

Crews were on scene clearing up until late in the night.

No persons were injured but the house had extensive damage.
