Construction injury leaves man in hospital

An incident on Moorside Crescent in Clyde North ended with a 22-year-old man being taken to Dandenong Hospital on Tuesday 6 June.

Police and emergency services responded, with paramedics called to the incident at around 8:05am, and CFA responding to a request to assist with extrication of a patient at 8:51am.

It is believed the man fell from the second floor of a house under construction at Moorside Crescent.

The man sustained non-life-threatening lower body injuries and was taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.

16 vehicles responded, including six CFA vehicles and crews from Berwick and Nar Nar Goon brigades, along with FRV.

The incident was deemed under control at 9:17am.
