Rider dies in Cranbourne East crash

A motorcyclist from Clyde has died after his bike and a car collided in Cranbourne East.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Thompsons Road and Wheelers Park Drive just after 8.30pm on Tuesday 18 April.

The 41-year-old man died at the scene.

The car driver, a 33-year-old Clyde North man, was not injured.

He was interviewed by police and released pending further enquiries.

Investigations are ongoing, police say.
