Food giant McDonalds will start construction on a new restaurant on Hallam Road, Hampton Park.
The project is set to inject over $8 million into the local economy and create over 450 jobs for local construction workers and restaurant employees.
Kelly Nardella, market director southern region for McDonald’s Australia, said they were excited to open the new restaurant and stimulate the economy at the same time.
“McDonald’s Hallam Road is committed to playing an active role in the local community through providing jobs, training and development opportunities, as well as supporting local charities and groups that are important to our customers and people,” she said.
“We look forward to serving up our great tasting, great quality menu once the restaurant opens later this year.”
McDonald’s Hallam Road will be fitted with modern decor and feature a dual lane drive thru, McCafe, PlayPlace, party room and alfresco dining.
