A re-elected Labor Government will invest $2.15 million to upgrade the Tooradin Recreation Reserve.

The funding will be put towards the development of the pavilion and the delivery of a skate park.

The reserve is the home of Tooradin Dalmore Football Club, who claimed this year’s West Gippsland Football and Netball League premiership for the first time in 25 years, and Tooradin Cricket Club.

Bass MP Jordan Crugnale said the government is backing local sporting clubs.

“As a parent of two children, I know we want to all see our kids active and engaged,” Ms Crugnale said.

“Sports clubs are the heart of our local community.”
