Police brief: Cannabis crop located in Tooradin

Police have arrested two people following the discovery of a cannabis crop at an address in Tooradin on Wednesday 13 July.

Members from the SD3 Divisional Response Unit located more than 200 cannabis plants in two separate grow rooms at a Bayview Road property.

They also seized a quantity of steroids, police say.

A 28-year-old man and a 59-year-old man were arrested at the scene.

The 28-year-old was charged with drug trafficking offences and remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court.

The 59-year-old was charged with possess cannabis and bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates Court on 2 November.
