The police airwing assisted in the arrest of a man driving a stolen car in Doveton early on Wednesday morning, 29 June.
PolAir followed the gold Toyota Camry, bearing stolen plates, from Doveton to Hampton Park where the driver dumped the vehicle and ran into a residential property on Greenfield Court, police said.
Police surrounded the area and the 30-year-old Cranbourne man was swiftly arrested, allegedly in possession of illicit drugs.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Dandenong Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
