Police brief: suspected proceeds of crime seized in Clyde

Three people were arrested and police seized a large quantity of drugs, cash and goods suspected of being proceeds of crime in Clyde on Wednesday 13 April.

The SD3 Divisional Response Unit in conjunction with SD3 Tactical Arrest Team conducted a forced building entry in relation to a search warrant.

A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking amphetamines, possess amphetamines and deal in property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.

A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of cocaine, trafficking a commercial quantity of amphetamines, possess cocaine, and other related offences.

The 23-year-old was bailed to appear Frankston Magistrates’ Court at a later date, while the 21-year-old was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in July.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested and released pending summons.
