Casey Highway Patrol have charged a 19-year-old unlicensed Cranbourne North woman with multiple offences following a collision that left a pedestrian seriously injured in Cranbourne on Saturday 26 March.
It’s alleged the driver, who is on bail, of a Mazda wagon driving south on Rosebank Drive was turning into Thompsons Road when she struck the 43-year-old Narre Warren South man on Saturday morning around 6.45am.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, while the driver was not injured.
Officers charged the woman with dangerous driving, causing serious injury, unlicensed driving, drug driving and breaching bail conditions.
She fronted an out of sessions court hearing on Saturday night where she was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ court on Sunday 27 March.
