Bus assault leads to Police appeal

Police are hoping that these passengers can assist them with enquiries regarding an assault on a bus last month. 272803

Police are appealing for public assistance to an assault on a bus which left three female victims with serious injuries on Saturday 26 February.

It is alleged three females were kicked and punched by a group of approximately eight males, resulting in one of the victims suffering a broken nose and a mild traumatic brain injury.

The other two victims suffered bruising.

The incident occurred on the 828 bus from Dandenong Railway Station to Box Street in Doveton around 7:40pm on 26 February.

Investigators have released an image of two males who may be able to assist with enquiries.
