Police brief: disqualified drunk driver caught

A disqualified driver who driving dangerously was intercepted by members of the Cranbourne Police station in the early hours of Wednesday 5 January.

The driver was stopped on Tangerine drive in Narre Warren South at 1am after police observed him swerving between lanes.

Police undertook a blood-alcohol on the driver test where he recorded a reading of .160, more than three times the legal blood-alcohol limit.
