An iconic Cranbourne dining spot and attached motel is expected to make between $6.3-6.5 million after being listed for sale earlier this month.
The 6,089 square metre property at 110 Sladen Street, where the Bear House Restaurant and Mahogany Park Motel operate, has been on the market for two weeks.
The Bear House is recognisable by its distinctive log cabin restaurant and quaint motel rooms nestled next door to the Cranbourne Rotary Park.
New Century Real Estate agent Kim Ke there had been high interest in the unique property, however the restaurant and motel businesses are not up for sale and are expected to remain operating as is for the meantime.
“The agency has fielded a number of bids but a final decision hasn’t been made,” he said.
“There are some people who want to buy it and continue to use it as a restaurant.
“But others might use it differently. We are still waiting on a final contract and decision.”
