Comedy Night In to raise funds for helpline

Kids Helpline have announced a charity comedy show featuring comedians Kitty Flanagan, Jimeoin and Arj Barker to raise funds to support the organisation.

Steph Tisdall will host Comedy Night In which will also feature Simon Taylor and Georgie Carroll.

Kids Helpline is aiming to raise funds to alleviate pressures placed upon the organisation by the covid-19 pandemic.

The organisation receives a contact every 60 seconds, and 15 times a day a child discloses they are in immediate harm or danger.

Kids Helpline is a free 24 hour professional counselling service, and relies on fundraising and donations to continue operating.

Tickets for the event cost $23 dollars, with $20 of every ticket sale going directly to Kids Helpline.

Comedy Night in has raised $12,045 of the $35,000 fundraising target for the event.

The online only event will be held on 11 November 2021 at 7.30pm and will have a seven day replay afterwards.
