Gelato vibes come to Cranbourne

A new gelato store in Cranbourne is promising to serve up scoops of colour and joy to the community.

Augustus Gelatery is gearing up for the opening of its new store in Cranbourne West this week, just in time for the school holidays and the warmer weather.

Augustus Gelatery brand manager Amie Surridge said customers could expect high-quality ingredients and a happy vibe when they enter the store.

To celebrate the opening, the store will be running a colouring competition to keep kids entertained over the holidays, and a special peanut butter cookie dough flavour thanks to a collaboration with Melbourne company DohBoy.

Ms Surridge said the store would bring a sweet treat to lockdown.

“People want that little bit of joy in their lives and we can provide that quite easily,” she said.

“We all just want something exciting to look forward to and gelato always brings that.”

Augustus Gelatery will open at 1/930A Thompsons Road, Cranbourne West on Friday 17 September at 12pm.
