Sharp end to Cranbourne North dispute

A teenage boy was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police attended an alleged assault in Cranbourne North on Tuesday 10 August.

It’s believed a 15-year-old boy attended an address in Mountainview Boulevard about 12.50pm and was involved in a dispute with the occupants, a 16-year-old boy and a 38-year-old woman.

It’s alleged the 15-year-old Cranbourne North boy threw a knife during the dispute and sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds to his hand.

He was taken to hospital for assessment.

The 15-year-old boy is expected to be charged on summons with assault related offences.

The 16-year-old boy and 38-year-old woman weren’t physically injured.

It’s believed the boys and woman are known to each other.
