A new school will open in Cranbourne West in 2023.
Construction tenders have been put out to build 10 of 13 new schools set to open in two years’ time, including the interim-named Camms Road Primary School.
The new facility will be located on Morningside Boulevard, Cranbourne West.
The school will include an early learning centre on site and has been designed as a Supported Inclusion School, providing accessible and inclusive education for all students.
These schools have a greater emphasis on supporting students with disabilities to access specialist infrastructure and teaching expertise to ensure all Victorian children have access to a great local school.
“We look forward to securing builders for this exciting new school so we can get on with the job of opening 100 new schools by 2026 and giving students in Cranbourne the bright futures they deserve,” said Cranbourne MP Pauline Richards.
The 13 new schools are among the 100 that the State Government has promised to open across the state by 2026.
