Lyndhurst man amongst four drink drivers

Monash police were kept busy intercepting four drink drivers in Clayton, Oakleigh, Oakleigh East and Mulgrave over the weekend.

Among them was the driver of a Hyundai hatch who was intercepted by police on the Monash Freeway in Mulgrave about 2am on Sunday 16 May.

The 34-year-old Lyndhurst man returned a positive evidentiary breath test of 0.112.

His licence was immediately suspended for 12 months and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

He is expected to be charged on summons at a later date.
