Multiple charges after warrant

A 43-year-old Cranbourne man has been slapped with a number of charges after police executed a search warrant.

The charges relate to a search warrant that was executed on Harry Street, Cranbourne, on Friday 7 May.

Victoria Police confirmed the man had been charged with manufacture handgun, possess equipment to manufacture firearms, possess firearm parts, prohibited person possess firearms, posses drug of dependence and three counts of commit indictable offences whilst on bail.

He was remanded and will re-appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2 August.
