Casey Community Grants open

The 2021/22 City of Casey Community Grant program opens on Monday 22 March, offering assistance to local groups to deliver programs and events that support positive outcomes for the Casey community.

Grants of up to $5000 are available to not-for-profit community groups and organisations to hold community events, programs and activities that are innovative, promote a sense of community and inclusion and help residents to engage in community life.

Last year, the Community Grants program helped approximately 100 groups to plan and deliver important programs, events, and services for the Casey community.

While Covid-19 meant that many had to postpone or re-schedule events, redirect funds to different types of activities or change delivery methods from face-to-face to digital, the grants program played an important role in keeping the Casey community engaged and connected during the pandemic.

An information session for the 2021/22 Community Grants will be held on Monday 22 March at 11.00 am at Lynbrook Community Centre to provide applicants with more information and support. To register please visit www.casey.vic.gov.au/community-grants or call 9705 5200.

If you are unable to attend the session but would like more information to be sent to you, please email communitygrants@casey.vic.gov.au.

Applications for the 2021/22 Community Grants close 5.00 pm Tuesday 27 April. For more information visit www.casey.vic.gov.au/community-grants
