A Clyde man has been arrested and charged following a non-fatal shooting in Patterson Lakes on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old man was arrested by Armed Crime Squad detectives following the execution of a warrant in Foote Way, Clyde on Wednesday 24 February about 4.30pm.
A number of items were seized from the property including firearms, ammunition and implements alleged to be used in the manufacture of homemade firearms.
The man has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury, manufacture handgun, makes threats to kill, reckless conduct endangering life, prohibited person possess and prohibited person use a firearm.
The charges follow a shooting in Patterson Lakes on Tuesday 23 February where it is alleged a man was shot in the lower body from a moving vehicle in a carpark on Thompsons Road just before 6pm.
The man was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 25 February.
