Suspicious car fire in Clyde North

Casey Crime Investigation Unit is calling for information following a suspicious car fire in Clyde North over the weekend.

On Saturday 17 October, a witness called triple zero to report the blaze on Heather Grove, Clyde North.

A FRV pumper responded to the call at around 6.30am to find the car alight.

The fire was extinguished and police and now investigating to determine the cause of the blaze.

The Mercedes had broken down the night before and was parked on the side of the road by the owner.
