Three people have been charged over an alleged home invasion that caused extensive damage to a Blind Bight property in June.
After extensive investigations Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives and the Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit executed simultaneous search warrants in Seaford and Sommerville on Thursday 27 August.
It comes after police allege armed offenders caused damage to a property in Fishermans Drive on 16 June.
Police found alleged trafficable quantities of illicit drugs, cash, ammunition and weapons at the address in Seaford and arrested two men.
A 28-year-old Seaford man was charged with home invasion, aggravated burglary, drug trafficking, theft, possessing the proceeds of crime and several other offences.
A 30-year-old Seaford man was also charged with home invasion, aggravated burglary and theft.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
In Somerville, police found an alleged imitation assault rifle and arrested a 28-year-old man.
He has been charged with possess imitation firearm, theft, handling stolen goods and commit indictable offence while on bail.
The Somerville man has been bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 6 May 2021.
