Passers-by have made the grim discovery of a body at a school in Cranbourne this morning, Friday 26 June.
The body of the man was found in a carpark in of Rangebank Primary School on Lesdon Avenue, near Donnelly Reserve, about 7.15am.
A crime scene has been set up and local detectives are on scene.
Homicide Squad detectives have been notified and are en route.
