Cranbourne Turf Club is in the running to take out the Country Racing Victoria Club of the Year award.
Ballarat Turf Club, Kyneton and Hanging Rock Racing Club, and Warrnambool Racing Club have also vying for the prestigious award with the winners of each category announced in Melbourne on 24 August.
The Club of the Year Award has once again been divided into two categories.
Club of the Year finalists are clubs that carry greater than $1 million turnover per year, while finalists for the Community Club of the Year are clubs with turnover below seven figures per year.
Ararat, Casterton, Donald, Mortlake and Mt Wycheproof are the nominations for the community club award.
The Kelly Sports Country Racing Victoria Event of the Year Award recognises an individual event that has performed the best against the criteria during the 2018/19 racing season.
Finalists for the other major award categories, including Horse of the Year, will be announced in coming weeks.
