This year’s Casey Kids Carnival has been cancelled after rainy weather hit Akoonah Park in Berwick on Saturday 30 March.
“The decision by Council was not made light heartedly and we were extremely disappointed that we were unable to deliver this wonderful event to our community in 2019,” a statement from Casey Council said.
“We look forward to bringing it back in 2020 and hope to see many of our residents there.”
The free family-fun event was planned to feature rides, interactive games, face painting, roving entertainers, arts and crafts, petting zoos and more.
Characters from Paw Patrol and Jungle Book were also arranged to meet and greet some of their favourite fans.
