Drugs, cash seized in raid

Detectives from Joint Taskforce Icarus have charged a man and seized drugs and cash in Cranbourne on Friday 1 March.

Investigators executed a search warrant in Macey Street and arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene.

Detectives also seized a quantity of what is believed to be MDMA and a large sum of cash.

The Cranbourne man has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 2 March.

Joint Task Force Icarus is comprised of personnel drawn from Victoria Police, AFP and Australian Border Force.
