Tractor driver nabbed using mobile phone

Police have caught a 31-year-old tractor driver using a mobile phone behind the wheel in Clyde on Saturday afternoon, 23 February.

Casey Highway Patrol observed the driver of this tractor travelling on Ballarto Road using a hand-held mobile phone.

The man from Dandenong received a $484 fine with four demerit points.

Tractors being used on roads are still classed as motor vehicles and are registered as such, police say.
