Clyde North is leading the way in small-scale renewable energy system installations.

Clyde North has topped small-scale system renewable energy installations in Victoria in the second quarter of 2018.

Figures from Australia’s Clean Energy Regulator revealed while Pakenham surpassed Clyde North in small-scale system installations in quarter two, Clyde North is once again Victoria’s top installer.

This includes solar panel systems, small-scale wind or hydro systems, solar water heaters and air source heat pumps under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme.

Through the months of July, August and September, there were 14,259 small-scale system installed in the Victoria. This is an increase from the 12,587 installations in the previous quarter. Clyde North residents received 339 of these small-scale systems.

Homes and businesses across Victoria installed a mix of air source heat pumps, solar PV (panels) and solar water heaters. These technologies use or generate renewable electricity which replaces electricity generated from non-renewable sources.
