Six people have been charged after drug raids in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.
Dandenong uniform and Divisional Response Unit members, with the help of Drug Task Force detectives, executed 19 warrants across October and November.
A number of hydroponic set ups were located and dismantled, which included the seizure of over 1300 cannabis plants.
Addresses were primarily residential, with the exception of one factory in Dandenong.
The six arrested over this time included:
• 38 year old Devon Meadows man bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 25 March 2019;
• 35 year old Springvale man remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 16 January 2019;
• 24 year old Springvale woman remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 25 January 2019;
• 28 year old Keysborough woman remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 26 November 2018 ;
• 25 year old Cranbourne East man remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 28 November 2018;
• 29 year old Cranbourne East man remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates Court on 8 November 2018.
They have all been charged with cultivate and traffic commercial quantity of cannabis, theft of electricity and deal with property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
