Weekend what’s on

Paper Planet by Polygot Theatre Let your imagination run wild in this planet made of paper and natural materials from the Gardens. Enliven the space with your creatures and critters, vines and fl owers, costumes and constructions. During this installation, participants are invited to continually add to the forest and build whole communities. Theatre and play merge as children discover an imaginative world for adventures in this forest of their own making. Paper Planet is an experience that all ages will fi nd inspiring and utterly blissful. Drop in anytime. Berwick Orchid Club Spring Show

Annual Spring Show put on by the Berwick Orchid Club. Wonderful displays of all types of orchids. A range of plants will be offered for sale over the weekend together with orchid potting and other orchid supplies.

Drawing with pencil or ink. All materials are provided by the students. All levels welcome – The only criteria is that you like drawing. Support and assistance is provided by the tutor and other members.

Patchwork and quilting

This class is for both machine and hand patchworkers. The work includes traditional patterns and applique work. We make bed quilts, wall hangings, table mats, runners, bags etc. One sewing machine is available, also cutting boards, rulers and iron. Students are asked to bring their own cutters.

Play the ancient game of Mahjong for fun and pleasure in a relaxed, friendly and non-competitive atmosphere. The aim of the group is to enjoy a friendly game amongst friends with a similar interest.
