How long have you been supervisor at Wilson Botanic Park and what do enjoy most about it? I have been the supervisor for 30 years. Love watching the trees growing towards maturity.
What is something people don’t know about you? Survived pioneering heart surgery in 1959, aged six.
What is the most memorable moment in your life? Being asked to speak at World Botanic Gardens Congress in New Zealand in 2015.
What is your favourite television show? Graham Norton Show.
At school, I….was incredibly shy.
What is your favourite place to visit in Victoria? Great Ocean Road, especially Lorne.
What is your favourite book? Hemmingway’s Chair – Michael Palin (signed copy with a personal message to me)
What has been your most embarrassing moment? Wearing work trousers in the main office, not realising that they were split in the back seam.
What do you work towards in your free time? Cataloguing my collection of garden books.
