Police nabbed speeding P Plater

A P-plater was allegedly clocked going almost 25km an hour over the speed limit in Cranbourne on Sunday 15 July.

The 30 year-old driver was allegedly travelling 104km/h in an 80km/h zone on the South Gippsland Highway.

Police say the driver was behind the wheel of his father’s high powered Mercedes.

The driver had also not allegedly displayed his P plates at the time of being intercepted.

The driver received $805 in fines and six demerit points.
