More than 50 toddlers got their groove on during a dance session held at Cranbourne Library on Friday 6 July.

“We had a packed house,” said Faith Cadman of Casey Cardinia Libraries.

The toddler music and dance session was one of Casey Cardinia Libraries free school holiday programs.

Children twirled colourful scarves through the air while classical music played in the background, followed by singalongs of old favourites such as ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ and ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’.

“We then played an exciting game of musical statues before handing out basic instruments such as bells, maracas and tambourines for some music-making fun,” said Ms Cadman.

“Finally, we played some up-beat songs for the last dances of the session as the children were entranced with bubble wands.”
