No mission was impossible for these aspiring 007 secret agents.

Armed with a spy ID card, an activity booklet, a cypher wheel for code-cracking, and some mission instructions – 25 children set out on their secret mission at Cranbourne Library’s ‘Spy Camp’ as part of Casey Cardinia Libraries free school holiday program.

“The kids had fun with a range of training missions which included code-cracking, crawling through a ‘laser maze’ of red wool lasers, pine cone ‘bomb defusing’ and sending secret messages to one another,” said Acting Youth Services Coordinator Faith Cadman.“We cordoned off the area usually used for our console games for the activity, but they also had to venture out into the junior non-fiction shelves to crack some Dewey Decimal codes.”

All participants received a training certificate at the end of the session.
