Delays are expected on a Thompsons road in Cranbourne this Friday.
Thompsons Road will be closed to traffic in both directions between Marriott and Merinda Park Boulevards from 9pm Friday 22June until 7pm Sunday 24 June.
Essential works are required to realign the Evans Road roundabout to match the new traffic lanes on Thompsons Road.
Crews will realign road safety barriers, and add new signs and line marking before the opening the newly constructed northern bridge.
Signed detours will be in place via Western Port Highway, Hall Road, Cranbourne-Frankston Road, South Gippsland Highway and Central Parkway.
Delays are expected and motorists are advised to avoid the area during this time if possible.
