Guzman y Gomez will be handing out free burritos on 7 June 12pm-7pm.

A Mexican fast food store is opening its doors to the public in Cranbourne and to celebrate they’re handing out free burritos.

The restaurant chain Guzman y Gomez will opening a drive-thru store at Pad Site 1, Cranbourne Homemaker Centre and serving up free burritos for free from 12pm to 7pm on Thursday 7 June.

Guzman y Gomez is challenging Cranbourne to top the 4182 burritos given away in one day at Lane Cove in Sydney.

But the day won’t be your average fiesta. There will also be a live Mariachi band and free Guacamole.

Since the opening of the first Guzman y Gomez in Newtown in 2006, Free Burrito Days have become bigger and better with each new restaurant.
