Lilium community welcomes 200th buyer

Villa World’s Lilium community near Clyde has marked a milestone, securing its 200th buyer.

John Quijano and his wife Vaine Napa are swapping their life on the Gold Coast for the new community which offers a backdrop of natural habitat as well as walking and cycling paths that connect with the nearby parks and BBQ areas.

Mr Quijano, who is a construction worker, and his young family pulled up stumps on the Gold Coast, heading for a promising new job in Melbourne early this year.

It wasn’t long before he was looking to permanently establish his roots in the city as a first-home buyer.

A trip to Villa World’s Lilium community near Clyde sealed his decision to buy land and build a new home.

“We looked at a number of estates but were impressed with the pricing at Lilium,” said Mr Quijano.

“The project itself is great too because it has so much to offer us as a family, such as privacy and security.”

Mr Quijano’s purchase marks a milestone for the established 400-lot community, which has now surpassed the half-way mark in sales.

Mr Quijano sees his purchase as an investment in the future of the region. Already well serviced by schools and shopping, Lilium is in the heart of an area earmarked for new schools, local town centres and a proposed rail extension to Clyde.

“We chose a 350 sqm block of land at Lilium where we plan to build a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home,” said Mr Quijano.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever bought land to build on but the process with Villa World has been really smooth.

“I’d recommend anybody who’s in a position to buy land or house and land at the moment to go for it. It’s a good and sure investment because it can never depreciate like a car and in the near future it will come back to you.”
