Thompsons Road closure

VicRoads would like to alert motorists to lane closures on Thompsons Road Cranbourne in both directions between Lonsdale Crescent and the Rail Line from 7pm tonight (Thursday 26 April) until 5am Friday 27 April.

Thompsons Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic in both directions.

The closure is necessary to install road safety barriers on the southern side of Thompsons Road to separate traffic from the work site.

It’s all part of the Victorian Government’s $175 million Thompsons Road duplication.

Access to Merinda Park train station via Merinda Park Boulevard and Boland Drive won’t change.

If Thompsons Road is part of your travel plans check real time traffic information at http://traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au/.
