Caught drug driving

A 37-year-old driver from Clyde North has been allegedly caught with drugs in his system on Friday 20 April.

Highway Patrol members intercepted the man’s Holden Club Sport vehicle on Clyde Road, Berwick where he tested positive to illicit drugs at 1.30am.

The same unit from the Highway Patrol intercepted a Ford Forte sedan on Potter Street in Dandenong at 3.10pm the same morning.

The 43 year-old driver from Dandenong allegedly returned a positive test to illicit drugs in their system.

Both drivers will face court.
