A Lynbrook probationary driver has been fined after he was allegedly caught speeding and drink driving in Keysborough on 9 April.

Highway Patrol officers pulled over the driver’s Holden Omega on Dandenong Bypass just after 12.30am.

Police detected the 26-year-old doing 98 km/h in a 80 km/h zone.

He also allegedly blew 0.026 in a roadside breath test.

The driver received $872 in infringement notices and 16 demerit points for his offences which also included failing to display P plates.
