Looking to add some furry love to your household?
The Lost Dogs’ Home is bringing pop-up adoptions to Cranbourne for one weekend only in a bid to rehome all its cats and kittens.
Up to 130 cats and kittens of all ages will be available to adopt for half the normal adoption fee on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 April.
Fees will be brought down to $55 for a cat and $110 for a kitten.
All cats and kittens available for adoption are de-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with flea and worming treatments, which is all included in the adoption fee.
The Lost Dogs’ Home Animal Welfare Manager Dr David Cunliffe said with a variety of ages and personality types, the public were bound to find the perfect furry friend.
“We know there are lots of caring people in the south east who can open their heart to an animal in need,” he said.
“The event will be a fun weekend for the whole family, with prize giveaways and children’s activities also taking place across both days.”
The pop-up adoption weekend will take place at the Home’s shelter in Cranbourne West, located at 920 Thompsons Road. It will run from 9am until 4pm.
