Former racer Supreme, a four-year old male Greyhound, who was up for adoption at Peninsula’s RSPCA shelter, has found a new home.
He was one of six Greyhounds from the shelter in Pearcedale to find a loving home following the RSPCA’s “50 Shades of Grey” adoption promotion in March.
Twenty Greyhounds were successfully rehomed across the state.
Supreme completed the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) assessment, making him exempt from wearing a muzzle in public under current Victorian legislation.
RSPCA Victoria Animal Care Manager Liz Walker said she was delighted with the result.
“It’s wonderful to think of them curled up on a couch with their new family. We still have gorgeous, sweet-natured Greyhounds available at several locations across Victoria, and encourage anyone interested in adoption to visit rspcavic.org.”
