Casey Council has set up community taskforce who will share their ideas about council’s future projects.
Twenty-two residents were appointed and will monitor the running of the Council Vision and 2017-21 Council Plan.
The group reflects the diversity of Casey in relation to age, gender, English as a second language and location, and will meet three times throughout the year.
The taskforce is a result of one of the 24 recommendations from the Casey’s People Panel, each of which aimed to address the long-term financial challenges facing the City of Casey in the current and forecasted period of significant growth.
