A 14 year-old Cranbourne boy was arrested by police following an alleged assault on Tuesday 19 December last year.
Police were called to an incident that occurred at a shopping centre in Cranbourne at about 12.15pm.
It’s alleged a 15 year-old male from Cranbourne North had been assaulted after a male had made demands for his shoes.
The victim was treated by paramedics after receiving facial injuries.
The 14 year-old was charged with offences of intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury, affray, unlawful assault and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.
He was remanded in custody and expected to appear before the Dandenong Children’s Court.
