CCTV catches massive petrol drive-off

By Brendan Rees

Cranbourne Police are investigating a male caught on camera at Tooradin United petrol station, allegedly driving off with a whopping $550 in petrol.
Footage shows the male filling up a large red tank tied to the tray of his ute on Wednesday 1 November.
The driver allegedly filled up his tank with petrol at the bowser before driving off, making no attempt to pay.
United Petroleum’s chief operating officer David Szymczak declined to comment on the matter except to say: “We’re working with police to try and find the offender”.
Cranbourne police were contacted but also did not wish to comment.
