Casey Crime Univestigation Unit is appealing for witnesses following a car fire in Endeavour Hills at about 6.30am on Sunday 12 November.
Police say they located the vehicle alight on Churchill Park Drive.
Detective Senior Constable Nicole Spinks said it was alleged the car was stolen from an address in Officer sometime during the night of Saturday 11 November.
She said a passerby had called triple-zero, and no persons or items were located at the incident.
“No description of anyone or anything like that – just if anyone has seen anything or seen a green Magna in the area at that time to let us know.”
Det Sen Const Spinks said the fire was deemed suspicious, adding: “It’s not known if accelerant was used.”
