Cook it with Dad – Dads Matter Program

The Cook it with Dad program is an opportunity for fathers and children to experience cooking together. Dads and children spending quality time and strengthening relationships; Families learning and eating healthy meals; Children learning life time skills and building confidence. Meet other dads.

  • Saturday 4 November at Selandra Family and Children’s Centre, 45 Haflinger Avenue, Clyde North, 10.30am-noon. Registration is essential: To register contact City of Casey on 9705 5200 or email dadsmatter@casey.vic.gov.au


Casey Stride Series – Race 2

The Casey Stride Series is a new three Race Series. The events will feature a 5km or 10km Run or Walk along with the Kangaroo Kids 2km and Koala Kids 1km. The events will be organised on the principles of being fun, friendly and relaxed. They will be designed for all abilities from beginners walking 5km to Olympians looking to have a fun race with the awesome Melbourne Running Community. All Participants will receive a free Compressport Event Tee and Finishers Medal.

  • Casey Fields at 160 Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East, on Sunday 5 November, 8.45am-10.45am Cost: $10 – $35.

Working Bee at Colley Street Bushland Reserve

Meet outside the reserve’s main entrance at the northern end of Colley Street. Wear sturdy clothing, shoes, gloves, a hat, insect repellent and sunscreen. Remove weeds and rubbish with other volunteers.

  • Sunday 5 November at 9am – 12pm at Colley Street Bushland Reserve, Colley Street, Pearcedale. Bookings are essential, please visit the Casey Green events webpage to book.
