Eating patterns broken in 12-week transformation

Four complete strangers from Casey teamed up in July to go on a journey of self-discovery, education and friendship in a bid to lose weight and transform their lives.
Fiona Doherty, Andrea Byrne, Brooke Gregory and Krista Mountford met for the first time when they won a competition on 3SER Casey Radio. The prize, donated by Casey RACE, was the opportunity to undergo a 12-week body transformation program called Metabolic Precision.
Metabolic Precision (MP) is not just a diet or exercise program, but a complete process that covers every aspect essential to a successful and permanent body transformation.
The program is based on the latest research around individual needs, goals and metabolic attributes and is easy to follow.
Ms Doherty said that winning the competition and undertaking the MP program had changed her life.
“Looking back, I was emotionally drained, always tired, not sleeping, my clothes didn’t fit and I was not eating the right foods. When I tried to exercise, I was not getting the results I wanted. My motivation was low and I was very down about how I looked and felt, but couldn’t seem to break the pattern,” she said.
“Metabolic Precision was the catalyst for a change in my life. My trainer introduced me to the MP nutrition and showed me how to create healthy meal plans. I have never been a person to go to the gym, but with my trainer’s guidance, I started to feel comfortable attending the Casey RACE gym on my own. Metabolic Precision has taught me to like myself again – there is no looking back now.”
Ms Byrne agreed and highlighted how the science and research behind the program really did work.
“Who would have thought that by eating six times a day and training for less hours that I have done previously, I could become leaner and stronger? The program is whatever you want it to be and you have to be willing to trust your trainer and trust the science behind it,” she said.
A key component of MP is learning about nutrition, optimising what is eaten and when, to get the most out of exercise.
“The nutrition is very confronting at first but it does become easier. You will never look at food the same way again without going through all the checks of what makes a metabolically precise meal,” Ms Byrne said.
“Although the my 12-week program is over, Metabolic Precision has led me to become informed, confident and accountable for, not only what I put in my mouth, but how I train my body.”
The four participants gained amazing results, losing 17kg and over 80cm between them.
