Man ‘wanted’ no longer

A wanted man has been located and arrested in Cranbourne after residents reported a ute hooning around the streets.
Police were notified of the hoon behaviour early on the morning of Friday 21 July and soon located a stolen Holden Commodore ute at a Canterbury Street house.
A man and a woman were arrested at the house and police discovered the young man wanted, with a number of charges to his name.
The 19-year-old from Dandenong was remanded in custody in relation to five charges of car theft, theft, false imprisonment, eckless conduct endangering life and serious injury, serious driving matters and speeding dangerously, handling stolen goods and resisting police.
